When my mother died suddenly last year, my sister and I were at a loss to know what to do with my father. He was in his eighties and suffering from Parkinson’s and creeping dementia. He came from a generation of men quite unused to any sort of cookery or housework, but he was fiercely independent and determined he wanted to live on in his own home. Staying at Home Care came to our rescue. Providing an increasing level of care including cooking, housework, driving, arranging doctor’s appointments, giving advice on home adaptations, their wonderful team have been invaluable to enabling my father to stay on in the comfort and security in his own home. Their staff are efficient and reliable. Everything they do is done with an attention to detail that is quite amazing. Moreover, they seem kind-hearted and genuinely motivated by a desire to care. They are a remarkable team. I truly do not know where we would be without them.   DS
